Origins of the TLC Fantasy Sports League
The Tastes Like Chicken Fantasy Sports League was born in the summer of 1997 in the apartment of Wolf and Scott. No one knows for sure where the name "Tastes Like Chicken" came from, but Scot has attributed it to David Estrada. Big Dave denies coming up with the name as he remembers hearing it for the first time and immediately loving it. The exact origin remains a mystery to this day.
The scoring system and rules were laid out by TLC founding member, Dwight Rowley who the TLC is forever indebted to. Such a group needed a commissioner to guide them through the season and that man was Sam Summerlin, who still leads the TLC to this day.
The eight founding members include the following:

- Thomas Loupe
- J. Scott
- David "Big Dave" Estrada
The TLC has gone on to add many major contributors to the league in the subsequent years. One thing's for certain, as the TLC enters it's 10th+ season, it continues to stand for fantasy sports excellence.
